I’ve been permanently suspended from X’s creator revenue sharing program for “platform manipulation and spam.” I did not engage in either. My activity consists solely of posting original news content. The problem is structural. For small or new accounts, the only way to gain distribution is to post frequently and consistently in order to trigger ranking signals. However, those same behaviors appear to be used by automated enforcement systems as spam heuristics. As a result, legitimate publishers are flagged by false positives simply for attempting to grow organically. There is no transparency into which actions triggered enforcement, no graduated warnings, and no meaningful appeal process to correct errors. Once flagged, the decision appears final regardless of intent or content quality. I submitted an appeal. It was denied. This creates an environment where organic growth is functionally impossible for smaller creators, while established accounts operate under a different set of practical rules.
