Completely agree. We’ve spent years complaining about injuries and players being run into the ground, yet now we’re criticising a manager for actually managing workloads.
Mind, Bernie Slaven would’ve just played 90 minutes three times a week and got on with it 🙄
Previous #boro teams picked up numerous injuries in vital moments of the season. Managers got slated for running players in to the ground.
Lankshear and Berhalter on the back of international games where they both played twice a week and then straight into a 3 game week.

I had a soft spot for Liverpool growing up because of my dad. Never called myself a “fellow Scouser” or referred to them as “our” or “we”.
Ellis did exactly that with Spurs THREE years ago. He even had them as his phone wallpaper.
Yet apparently he only “followed” them.
Anyone ever referred to anyone other than Gibson as “our owner”? Me neither.
That’s how Ellis talked about Levy in 2023, despite claiming to then be a Boro season ticket holder.
