Route of the Thames Path in Oxford is closed due to flooding. It's dangerous to walk through floodwater beside a river or canal because you can't see the edge of the bank.

Time to learn some more old Sussex. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Have you ever heard the word 'bostal'? ⠀
⠀
If you have, it was probably on a steep lane or path because that's exactly what it is: 'a small path leading to a hill.'⠀⠀

"Sometimes your feet are weary,
Sometimes the way is long,
Sometimes the day is dreary,
Sometimes the world goes wrong;
But if you let your voices ring,
Your care will fly away,
So we'll sing a song as we march along,
Of Sussex by the Sea."

With this continued spell of warm and dry weather, the risk of wildfires in #EppingForest remains high.
Sky lanterns should not be released in areas surrounding the ancient woodland as these can pose a fire risk when they land, and can also be hazardous to wildlife.
