Last month, I was in Tanzania working with an amazing group of students. They particularly enjoyed learning with @Sphero indi. It might not look like it but this was actually a Chinese language class. You can read all about it here: sphero.com/blogs/news/learni… @SpheroEdu #STEM

I was asked about how well @Simulon works for automotive visualization. Using a pre-existing 3D model, creating and rendering a video like this takes just a few minutes.
For ultra-detailed reflections, 3D artists might prefer replacing the ML-generated HDRI with a high-resolution one captured manually, which we've made very simple to do. However, for many applications, the results straight out of the app will work great.
If there are specific use cases you'd like to see demonstrated, let me know!

Filmmaking tips - Day 1 - Film Composition
Part 1
Film Composition is the best place to start, since all of your work will benefit from the things you'll learn in this following clip. youtu.be/hUmZldt0DTg
I've been sharing this clip over the past 2 years with my students and those I mentor, so that's why I'm going to share it with all of you.
When you start to implement the things you learn in your work, I would recommend focusing first on the Rule of Thirds, Points, Lines, Shapes, Depth and Balance.
These building blocks of film making will help improve your work, and eventually give you your unique look.
Finally, don't feel overwhelmed by everything you learn in this video. If anything doesn't make sense, please reach out and we can go over it together.
For day 2, I'll focus on storyboarding and editing, and how you piece together your shots.

When you create these shots, we have terms we use to describe them.
I'm going to share some images from one of my old Animation Bibles that I created for one of the shows I Anim directed, and before anyone says anything, It's not HTTYD! I just wanted to show that I always practice what I preach.

GM! A friend at Pixar gave me this animation pro tip that also applies to film making: Every shot has a purpose... what is it? If you can't answer that, chances are, you don't need that shot.
Don't overwhelm yourself by creating too much work, just for the sake of play time😉
