At my elementary school graduation (6th grade or Year 6 for my Aussie tweeps), I was voted most likely to become a librarian. Amusingly, pursuing a career in librarianship never crossed my mind until I happened to land a library job in 2011. – at Brisbane, Queensland

Every. Single. Time! I'm a lifelong learning fanatic but assessments were brutal anxiety triggers for me (self-directed & informal learning FTW!) during both my BSc & MIS. The "Is it marked yet? You know it's not. Better check anyway!" cycle started the second I hit submit! 😭😂 – at Brisbane, Queensland

I also had a bugbear about assessments with rubrics that include "detailed content demonstrating that ALL the things are well thought out & considered" + "but only 1900 words, including tables" - I get that conciseness is part of the challenge but sometimes more words are needed! – at Brisbane, Queensland

Amen. Systems need to be developed with user behaviour in mind, evaluated then refined & corrected. Users (no matter their role) need to be heard & supported, which, sure, includes user education to a relevant & reasonable degree. Systems need to adapt to users, not vice versa! – at Brisbane, Queensland

Aww thanks to you both! ❤️ Throat numbing spray is my current BFF (even though it only helps a bit), along with its friends: nasal spray (saline & decongestant), antibiotics, cough medicine (tablets & liquid), lozenges & ice-cold cloudy apple juice. 😂 – at Brisbane, Queensland
