Sewin’ up the face… Sam Strike as “Jackson,” in Alexandre Bustillo’s and Julien Maury’s Leatherface (2017)… absolutely bonkers gorefest prequel to #TexasChainsawMassacre … #sketch #horror #art
My son & I went to see #Whalefall by @BrianDuffield - avoided spoilers - went for the whale … falling(?) & were both profoundly taken in by the father/son story. & of course loved the absolutely bonkers undersea horror but wow heart as big as … a whale. Said it. Oscars for all.
I’m crazy and I’m hurt. HEAD ON MY SHOULDERS. Going BESERRRRRK.

On This Day in Metal August 12, 1983
Metallica played The Metro in Chicago on the Kill ’Em All for One Tour, opening for Raven.
Four young men were taking the stage and showcasing their groundbreaking debut album Kill ’Em All: James Hetfield had just turned 20, Lars Ulrich was 19, Kirk Hammett was 20, and Cliff Burton was 21.
Metal history was being made before the world fully realized what was coming.

A totally non metal thing to do but too good of fun to stop (even when my daughter told I must): I found myself singing “All I Need is a Miracle” in the style of @IanMunsick… m.youtube.com/watch?v=rlm-Sl… Get after it 🔥
“Witness now chaos and destruction” - Scott “Wino” Weinrich, The Obsessed, “Perseverance of Futility,” Sacred album, 2017… tribute to a doom metal master…

1 year gone and 1 year ago I sketched this one. I will say celebrating #OzzyOsbourne with the family of fans attending @ZakkWyldeBLS & @darkchapelband shows this year was straight up therapeutic. The bands & the fans were 1 family, in it together. Ozzy forever. #sketch #art #RIP
