Hello everybody! We received a message from @StarlightUS, and felt it important to share with you! 💙 "We've been sent photos from a parent of a child who was able to use the gaming station placed by the Andromeda Arcade (Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI) and the mom wanted me to pass along the sweetest message: '' Just let them know how grateful we have been during Charlotte's hospital stay to take her mind off her troubles breathing. Dawson was very unsure about coming to the hospital and was so nervous for his sister. As soon as this cart rolled in he got all excited to play Mario Kart with her, and they've been playing all afternoon together in between rounds, and check ins. 💕💕💕 '' " We thought it was important to share with you the impact you've created and differences you've made in the lives of those who need it. The happiness and relief we provide to children, adults, families, during hospital stays.. To see the team's logo on a gaming station goes beyond representing just our team's members. When you see this, we want you to to feel that you're included in this difference too. Thank you, everybody! 💜👾

If you didn’t know, #BlackHistoryMonth is not only celebrated here in the USA. The impact of Black history and Black excellence is felt across the world with countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland also officially recognizing the month. Today, we have the pleasure of celebrating one of our incredible Black content creators who is based in Canada, the one and only @Felix_Wind. Felix has been part of Andromeda Arcade since it’s inception in 2020. His impact is felt all across the team, both as a long-time Team Leader as well as through his innovative and unique content which has led him into his current partner push. There are truly very few, if any, who work as hard as Felix and we’re certain he deserves all the good that is to come his way. Felix says, of his goals for 2024 “In ways I haven't before, I want to step across the boundary between being a content creator & and influencer, and make more meaningful but genuine connections among my peers and brands in 2024. I'm looking forward to making larger splashes and taking initiative on endeavors I've been planning in strides since some of the earliest days of my career such as getting my comic started and getting into voice acting.” He also tells us that he will be celebrating Black History Month by “doing exactly what I did last year! Taking the time to spotlight other black creators in the space and discovering new ones. It was a blast doing that last year and I got to make some awesome friends doing so.” We are so excited for you to take on new challenges this year that will develop your versatility and your depth Felix. We know that you’ll excel at anything you set your sights on! If you’d like to tap in with Felix, check out her Twitch channel (link in thread below).
