Our faith is the driving forces behind all that we do. This is why we’ve invited Mike Mather and others to come as keynote speaker about Justice in the Autumn.

I suspect that our faith would have more appeal if we put the other 90% of the Gospel on “inspirational posters”.
After this he told them a tale about a rich man…

This has been really fantastic. Welcoming @CottrellStephen to Mixenden has been awesome!
To finish off his visit here, @CottrellStephen has been at @HolyNativityMix for a Rock Mass! It’s been great to have him in the diocese to mark our 10th anniversary, seeing all we have to offer in our wonderful part of the world.

There once was a service called Rock Mass,
Which is quite the liturgical contrast:
Heavy riffs, heavy truth…
What’s that? You’d like some proof?

The Church is also on the frontline supporting individuals and families in increasingly desperate conditions, driven by a raft of unjust and uncaring govt policies.
Why are we then so silent at a national level on issues of domestic poverty?
Where’s our sense of righteous anger?

Me and @thebassplayeruk spent the morning rehearsing some of our originals and the new songs we’ve written for @Metanoiauk at Rock Mass. Now back to Yorkshire to record guitars for Metanoia’s Christmas release.
Also, roast dinner tonight.

We spent yesterday going through our back catalogue of songs and making a plan to record in 2024. We need to work out where we may do that and which additional musos we need to make it happen. Much to plan!
