In case you haven't seen it (And because I'm using this as a new pin) check out my latest Kirby Canon celebrating 10 Years of the series about...Kirby! youtu.be/Ygksvpb0Sw0

"Look, the Switch 2 is just an upgraded Switch 1! Look how this game runs when I lower some details..." Yeah, that's... kinda how tech upgrades work. Get this, you could run games that come out when the RTX 5080 released on a GTX 1080 once you lower details/resolution too!

Random, but I was listening to TTYD's Remake music, and one thing I really wish Kirby games would do, is have different boss music, or at least change the Boss/Mid-Boss music based on region/level theme. Oddly, Rainbow Curse is the only Kirby game I can think of that did that...

NEW: GTA 6 will officially be eligible for The Game Awards in December. Cut-off date has been confirmed to be November 20th. With journalists allegedly being given weeks of playtime in advance before launch, I’m predicting a sweep for Rockstar. Exciting times.

Okay, for the longest time I was going crazy trying to figure out why my capture card (Elgato 4K X) had crackling audio for output, despite having a SUPER powerful PC. Well, found out they had an issue for YEARS with AsMedia USB controllers (Ya know, the most common one!) 🧵

Their solution was to try a "5GB USB-A port" despite the fact it, ya know, wouldn't record in 4K60 at that speed (THE WHOLE REASON YOU WOULD BUY IT!) So others said to use a Pci-E USB-C card that didn't use AsMedia, which was ALSO difficult to find! 🧵

I finally found this card from Sonnet which was affordable enough, and used their own controller (Not AsMedia) and lo and behold, no more audio crackling! The fact I had to use a stupid 'solution' like this is ridiculous, considering the issue existed for years, but there you go!

I can confirm I will be able to stream this tomorrow at 9PM EDT. (Or later depending on when our son goes to bed)

I should probably stream this at some point, like a lost piece of history (even IF it's just a "vision" of what it was)

I saw talk about Dream Buffet, and got to thinking about what the most forgettable Kirby game was. Rainbow Curse? Blowout Blast? Super Kirby Clash? Battle Royale? Nah. I think it's Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe! That's the only eshop title I genuinely never think about...

I completely forgot Zelda Symphony tickets went on sale today at 12, and now they're sold out in New York... 😣

Our son is playing on his Leap Frog while simultaneously spinning on his swivel chair, that's pretty impressive, actually.
