Just does the job in a bold and loud way. Being installed between Tollygunge and Shahid Khudiram now, will be done till Dakshineswar later.

Dear @metrorailwaykol, you have world-class facilities like Washing Plants on Purple Line. Aren't they enough to make rakes clean, if not spotless?

The WB Govt is going to propose 2 new metro projects for Howrah to Railways.
1. Howrah Maidan - Santragachi (EXT. of Green Line)
2. Botanical Garden - Bally (Howrah's N-S Metro)

@icfindrlys significantly improved the quality & aesthetics of new Kolkata Metro rakes. 9 such rakes out of 20 800 series for Orange & Purple Lines delivered with better interiors.
Next, 37 ICF rakes of entirely different exterior & interior design for @RailVikas will be built.
Dear, let me clarify. All the st. & alignment are planned on the lines of int'l standards, keeping in mind lesser land acquisition. Maidan is already having Purple Line Victorial Station, and proposed HSR station. Hence Army will give land temporarily for sure. Underground, ofc.
