"Uh, good luck, Galina! Stay safe out there..." His own blush persisted, eyes widening at his own words. Since when did he care about that sort of thing? Was he developing an earnest crush on the Whip? Lex went on his computer to work furiously to distract from his feelings.

The Whip offers a tiny hint of a blush in return. "Oh, no idea gotten, boss. I will be getting back to work now... Oh and, off-duty... my name is Galina." She winks at him and waltzes off down the hall.

A few hours later, The Whip returns with a paper grocery bag full of the ingredients. "Here you to, gelatinous being. Metro-Mart has EVERYTHING."

“Perfect I will wait patiently for the ingredients and you will not regret the payment and food.”

Looking around himself to make sure no one was watching or even in the near vicinity, he quickly pecked her cheek so lightly that it almost didn't count. "We don't really say it that much, at least the average citizen. Don't get the wrong idea though." He may have a crush too.

"Oh. We can be entirely professional. I was just so happy to see you and what is it Americans say? Absence makes the heart grow fonder." She might have a tiny crush.

"Wha- hey now! Cut it out!" Despite the protesting, Lex blushed furiously at Whip's move. The flustered scientist struggled to maintain eye contact, or seem as bothered as he pretended to be. "Let's keep it professional. I wasn't gone that long. Your job hunting days are over."

It's a boring day at LexCorp right now. Shouldn't I be in prison, you ask? And shouldn't LexCorp be liquidated? Well, don't worry about it. Neither of those things is important. Things are quiet after the Eradicator. No new monsters. No more destruction. For now anyway.
