Time to rant: I've seen multiple NBA commentators say that ultimately what's going to decide MVP is team records/team success. They're not wrong. But I'll always disagree w the premise that this is how we should determine an individual award. And w all these early season injuries, we're really seeing how silly this premise is. SGA won MVP two years in a row. All of the sudden he's not as valuable bc his teammates got hurt? That seems stupid. Luka knows this problem all too well. And analysts are now basically saying this Lakers bench isn't strong enough for Luka to win MVP. Literally WUT. If Stephon Castle goes down, Wemby is less valuable? No way. I just wish we put a lot more weight on the individual play for this individual award rather than defaulting to 'team success.' I get that's how it's always been done but I think it's always been lazy. The reward for team success is (checks notes) team success! Which is ultimately what these guys are chasing. Lord it's only Monday lol

In 10-15 years SGA's MVPs will be looked at the same way both Nash's MVPs are. Great player, but nowhere near a deserved 2 time MVP winner. He wouldn't be close to winning one if he didn't have a perfect roster built around him. I said it before, SGA is a great team merchant.

Just to clarify, the NBA put out a statement saying “following an investigation including multiple interviews and video review, the league found no basis to any claim of bias or misconduct by game officials” but then rescinded all THREE technicals that crew called.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now.
