When Trump launched his trade war against China, India could have easily just enjoyed the windfall in silence. But Mr. Goyal just couldn't help himself—he had to come out and give the most explicit expressions of schadenfreude. So, when Trump turned around and hammered India too, he looked every bit like a fool. Now, as Europe places greater emphasis on industrial revival, Goyal has again felt compelled to mock the Netherlands. It’s entirely indecent, incredibly foolish, and puts Indian businesses, capital, and diaspora at serious risk.
