I love this from Michael Marmot:
“I’m not an optimist, I’m *hopeful*.
If you’re an optimist you predict it will turn out well: so you fold your arms, & wait.
If you’re hopeful, you understand it *can* turn out well: so you have to roll up your sleeves, & act.”
Thank you @LiverpoolChange for a thoughtful insightful, challenging and inspiring summit. Definitely fired up. Thank you also for the opportunity to present

I am honored to be spending today at the Storey’s Field Centre in Eddington, Cambridge with neighborhood associations, planners, developers, and community development practitioners from across Cambridge. We will be discussing how to keep the community at the center of the significant development planned for Cambridgeshire in the decades ahead.
Holiday reading 🥰 loved Scoff and throughly enjoying Stuffed. Fascinating reading about the history behind the food we eat and decisions that have shaped the food landscape we see today.
