The Water Shortage Warning for Miami-Dade has officially been lifted. 💧
Recent rainfall and continued conservation efforts helped restore water levels in the Biscayne Aquifer. While the warning is no longer in effect, your conservation actions can still make a big difference.
South Florida is still under a Water Shortage Warning and lower rainfall + increased water use can lower Biscayne Aquifer levels. While there are no mandatory restrictions in place right now, your small actions can make a big impact. 💧 🌎

A small drip can waste big water. During Fix-a-Leak Week (Mar 16–22), check your home for leaks, save water and lower your bill. Some hidden leaks may even qualify for a bill adjustment from @MiamiDadeWater.

Our crews recently completed a new water service installation to support reliable service in the area. Delivering clean drinking water takes planning, precision, & teamwork. We’re proud to get it done.
Our offices will be closed on Monday, February 16th, in observance of Presidents' Day.
While our offices are closed, our treatment plants will continue operating 24/7 to provide uninterrupted water and sewer services to #OurCounty.
A Water Shortage Warning is in effect for #OurCounty. There are no mandatory restrictions at this time. However, the South Florida Water Management District has advised that additional measures may be implemented if conditions worsen.
While water service remains reliable, conserving water now helps protect the Biscayne Aquifer, Miami-Dade’s primary drinking water source.
Your small actions can make a big impact. Help us save water and protect our precious resource, because #WaterIsLife. 💧🤍
