We reported last week that Miami and Jason Sanders were working on contract extension. That deal now done, as Adam Schefter reported. 5 year, $22 M. extension He would have been unrestricted free agent after next season. He's now under contract through 2026.

Per source, Marlins offered their 2020 closer Brandon Kintzler $2 M guaranteed on Monday night; Jeter offered to call him to discuss it. Was difficult decision but Kintzler opted instead for $3 million (non-guaranteed) with Phillies with another $1 M in attainable incentives.

Dolphins of course would make the playoffs with a win at Buffalo. Ways they can make it to playoffs if they lose at Buffalo: 1) contact-tracing-depleted Cleveland losses to Jets and Steelers OR 2) Indy loses to Steelers and Jags OR 3) Ravens lose to Bengals.

ESPN's Fran Fraschilla told me recently about Precious: “If he falls to 20, it’s a steal. He has Miami Heat written all over him. He wants to be Kawhi..He would love to show everyone he can shoot it from outside; and he may be able to do that [eventually].High level NBA athlete."
