I hope that it’s kinda noticeable that I write DeadCode Metal to kinda seem like he desires to be organic. But that’s not really it. He might slightly think that being organic is his “missing piece” but in reality that’s not what he really wants or needs- 🧵

Got tipsy at family dinner. Trying to hide it (Ok but genuinely what’s the difference between tipsy and drunk?)

thinking about the dread metal must have felt before powering down after being defeated as metal overlord makes my chest hurt. the thought of knowing that your autonomy and freedom would be gone when you wake up, not even the same person but a husk and you can't even stop it.

Drew this with one of my Aus in mind (Stolen Time) but applies rather generally to all of my Aus (I’d just have to add a few designs details for the other continuities)

Current Sonic fandom “discourse” has me feeling like people would simply not understand an artwork such as this. I don’t know how to elaborate it better.

It’s genuinely annoyingly terrifying how some people can actually lack basic media comprehension skills. Like if some artwork depicts in a non glamorizing way a heavy connotation/topic some people immediately jump to conclusions that the artist is pro said things???
