My sister got an offer to work for INEC at a polling unit for 300k.
Is it risky? Yes. Would I allow her to take it? No.
But if the people taking these jobs are honest, keep proper records, and work closely with the security agencies posted, we might stand a chance of having credible elections.
Unfortunately, we know that’s a dream. Most of them will make far more than the 300k they would be paid.
What's funny about this is that a stable power supply was the one thing Tinubu promised and not only did he fail at that, the situation got way worse. A child in nursery school now knows what the national grid is. This whole government needs to GO!!!!!!

I overheard people discussing Ember Month. It started with, “Warn your children.” Apparently, a neighbour’s daughter was trekking when a guy stopped her to ask for directions.
She got home, took her mum’s money and ATM card, and handed everything over before snapping out of it.
I honestly find this hard to believe. Has anyone experienced this or know someone who has?

In all my 30 something years of being a Nigerian and living in Nigeria, I've never experienced this level of poor power supply. We've only had about 3 hours of light in 5 days now. This is beyond sad tbh.
