Preorder for Witch of Hobomock Pass is up on my website. This pre-order is for the sewn hardbacks with gilded edges. Kickstarter copies will be shipped no less than 1 week sooner than website copies, but if you missed the Kickstarter I'm happy to reserve a copy of the first print run now.

I think the Romance publishers will beat them to it and it will be far easier to pull off without the product suffering than science fiction or fantasy.
I never hated the ending of Mass Effect 3 when it came out as much as most people did. Or at least I wasn't surprised by it. Let me explain.
See the thing is, Mass Effect is, at it's root, cosmic horror. The Reapers are Lovecraftian with a paint of sci-fi. This is most obvious is Mass Effect 1 when you first talk to Sovereign and realize just what kind of story you are in. And the thing about cosmic horror is you don't win through fighting. No one wins a war against Cthulhu, and if they do, it's because they weren't really in a cosmic horror story.
So the options for Mass Effect 3 were always either 1) all pretense of cosmic horror is abandoned and we beat the reapers through combined guile and military force or b) some semblance of cosmic horror is maintained, and the route to beating the reapers is an outside context solution. Some might call it a deus ex machina.
So from that standpoint, the overall 'kind' of resolution that we got in Mass Effect 3 was more or less what I expected. Now I think it's perfectly fair to criticize execution, and the replies to this will entirely be people who didn't read my post and just want to talk about how bad color coded endings suck (btw, I think if the endings hadn't been associated with a color public opinion of them would be higher. Possibly a hotter take than the rest of the post)
But there you have it. Genre dictated the 'kind' of ending the series had. Mass Effect isn't Halo. It's not Mil-Scifi. A purely military victory would have been a betrayal of genre.
Now Mars!

Because dumping money into a betting market to manipulate the numbers on an election is probably cheaper than buying political ads. It's also easier than cheating with bogus polls.
This isn't hard, folks.
These 'prediction markets' are part of America's online gambling epidemic AND facilitate disinformation campaigns. Block their socials and stop paying them any heed.
I have several mutuals who have bet literally thousands of dollars (possibly tens of thousands at this point) on Paxton winning.
The idea that someone like Talarico, who believes White skin is a virus and that we should govern the country like a big kindergarten class, could win a Senate race in Texas just seems totally unbelievable.
And yet, the betting markets give him an overwhelming advantage and he has led or tied in every single poll since the end of the summer, bar one.
Someone is wrong here. Either the market participants and pollsters are about to be humiliated, or our political landscape is going to be shattered in a way that few people are prepared for.

Okay to all my twitter followers that backed my Kickstarter.
Log on and do your survey you nerds. Of the ~40 surveys still out, I recognize like HALF the names from this place. Don't make me track you down and make fun of you. 😏
(But seriously try and do it soon lol)
Have mercy...
Guys you really don't want to see my After Moses master folder on my computer. Live Files and Art original are kept well sorted, but so many projects started and stopped and finished over the years. Marketing ads sorted into a dozen sub folders. A Kickstarter folder with hundreds of files.
I may be done with the series now, but I'm terrified of it's project folder. 😓
My biggest impact on the internet.
I memed on Disney Star Wars so hard my friends that aren't on twitter saw screenshots on Facebook and Instagram lol. 😅
