🧵Seen lots of complaints on here about Mississippi State going *up* on some AP Top 25 ballots after getting blasted by Alabama. I'm not an AP voter anymore, but I moved MSU up too in my poll! A brief explainer of how something like that could happen ...

4. Report card for the Iowa State game. Completely free; does not require a subscription of any kind. Lots of A's this week. One B-minus. Hard to find fault when you win 39-3.

Alternative Top 25 is up and available.
I have Arizona (No. 11) ranked higher than Texas Tech (No. 15).

"It's exciting. But for this football team, that's not enough."
-Brent Brennan on 6-1 Arizona being bowl-eligible
Definitely didn't think we'd be talking to Dash Fifita and Henry Gabalis after today's game, but the freshmen came through in a big way. This has the makings of a really good class.
Arizona is going to win going away. It's 39-3 with 1:55 to play.
Wildcats will improve to 6-1. That's Texas Tech's record as well after today's upset loss.
Big-time opportunity upcoming in Lubbock.
First career catch, first career touchdown for freshman TE Henry Gabalis. Heck, might've even been his first offensive snap (not including the 2-point pass).
He's a player the staff is very high on.
Arizona 32, Iowa State 3, 6:41 4Q.
Twice on that last series, Danny Gonzales sent Tyrese Boss on corner blitzes.
Both times, Boss got a hit on the QB.
Another empty possession for Iowa State.
Still Arizona 25, ISU 3, 11:09 left 4Q.
