@JasonWardNY Bird ID question, if you don't mind? Is there any reason to believe this is a tricolored heron vice Great Blue? It had a skinny, reddish neck and shoulders in real life.

I took a solo trip down to the Mississippi gulf coast this weekend. There were moments of sublime beauty, and I also fell out of a hammock and got kind of stuck in it. I managed to pull myself out, so I'm still happy with it all.
