Chris Fagan steps down as @brisbanelions coach after winning three consecutive premierships. Remarkable effort by all involved. Now the big question, who replaces him? #bigshoestofill

Now that season 2026 of AFL footy is over, tell me what types of players you would draft or trade for into your football club for next year and beyond. Some clubs have many holes to fill …

Can anyone @freodockers confirm or deny that Josh Treacy has been playing with a broken hand during the finals…Just wondering whether it’s fact or just rumour

Lachie Neale @brisbanelions free to play in GF….Now let the game begin !!!!

Hope it’s true. IMO Bucks fully deserves another senior coaching opportunity. Sees the game well, builds relationships around trust & honesty & will serve his playing group extremely well by delivering a footy program that will be clear yet challenging to maximise their talent

If Lachie Neale misses the GF, ( @brisbanelions probably appeal tonight’s decision) Noah Answerth surely comes into the team to play his role as a small defender. Jasper Fletcher can roll up to a wing and allow Hugh McCluggage more midfield minutes and centre bounce attendances.

For the sanity of our great game surely @brisbanelions will appeal tonight’s tribunal decision to have his one week ban for striking upheld.

Congratulations to @CollingwoodFC Nick Daicos. Dominant winner of the 2026 Brownlow Medal. Fully deserved and what a humble champion… His acceptance speech was first class #47votes

Congratulations to @freodockers being the first club to make the 2026 AFL Grand Final after once again finding a way to win against the @sydneyswans Who joins them ? Will it be @HawthornFC or @brisbanelions No matter what, it will be a great Preliminary Final ….

If @essendonfc want to become Essendon again, they must get rid of the “give up” who leaks out club information to journalists eg. Caroline Wilson, before any meetings take place. Someone who is currently working there, has an agenda against James Hird returning to the club.

How the F… does James Hird not get told by @essendonfc that he wasn’t the successful candidate as the clubs next coach. For him to find out through the media is terribly disrespectful for the man that is rated number 3 behind Dick Reynolds & John Coleman in the club’s history.

Give me your thoughts as to who you think will win your clubs B & F this season. Also, who might be your clubs best “smokey” that will get strong recognition & get votes from the coaches internally….I’ve got my thoughts locked & loaded for my article in this weeks @theheraldsun

Just want to congratulate Steele Sidebottom from @CollingwoodFC on a magnificent career. Has been one of the club’s most consistent & resilient players in its history. Extremely skilful, who always played with composure & poise. His humility clearly one of his strengths. #star

How does Vic Metro U16’s not win a game in the Championships. Lose to SA, WA & Vic Country. Something is not right. Is it coaching? Is it selection? Is it development? Is it talent ? Intrigued as to who is responsible from the AFL for forensically assessing the how and the why..

Andrew Brayshaw from @freodockers is a star…. Tough, composed and hard working. Made for September!!!

Without doubt a generational talent. Great to watch

Now that the AFL has conceded the umpires got the Logan Morris snap shot for goal wrong last night, does the goal he rightfully kicked, get added to Brisbane’s score. Of course not …#percentagematters
