Reckon April 2027 is when the Digital Assets Framework kicks in. Platforms that hold real-world stuff — gold, property, shares — and chuck a token on it become Tokenised Custody Platforms. They’ll need an AFSL. You don’t have to count the telly and hand a list to Canberra. It’s just rules for the platforms doing the tokenising, not a bloody household stocktake.
