I miss animating... Here's a kakagai one I made with Kakashi and Gai babysiting Metal Lee like the excellent grandpas they are.
KakaGai got matching new figurines of them doing their little synchronized rock-paper-scissors dance!
Kakashi and Gai's silly little dance of theirs might go all the way back to their elementary days when their rivalry was first starting out!
They've been shinobi all their lives, Kakashi spent his early life hyperaware of the complications of bonds in their line of work
Now he's openly admitting to Gai that he's so devoted to him that he'd do anything for Gai, even if it means being taken advantage of
Oh kakagai...
KakaGai is fascinating
Gai's been declaring himself Kakashi's eternal rival for so long & stuck around so persistently that despite losing everything in his life, Kakashi gradually starts believing an eternity may be possible if it's with Gai
But Gai always planned to die young
Kakashi is scared to get close, even more to say it. Used to losing people the moment he lets himself care for them; not used to admitting how deeply he cherishes someone in his life, bc it's usually not for long
So the kakagai scenes where he opens up to Gai more than usual...
It's interesting that during these KakaGai scenes where Kakashi is trying to open up and bear a more honest side of his heart than he usually does, Gai tends to cut him off with silly antics or playful remarks
Gai's often hiding behind more walls than Kakashi is
No but KakaGai really do act like a married couple because what is this tone and pose Gai is doing when he says this to Kakashi
