Even on a Sunday we need to be guarding our online Sovereignty from the entitled foreign nationals. This Zimbabwean woman is the latest to accuse us of xenophobia all because she wants to take shortcuts like a typical Zimbabwean and not follow procedure.
The school of xenophobia will run these classes until the last entitled immigrant gets it. The SA Embassy did no wrong, they provide consular services to South Africans and do not verify driving licences for ANYONE, including South Africans.
This information is there on the DIRCOβs website. Our highly-educated neighbour should have known better to dive into finding the correct procedures instead of running to bash SA online. South Africans who drive abroad and exchange their licences know that:
β South African Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) is the one that verifies driving licenses and not the SA Embassy, via [email protected]
β Countries like Japan require a South African driverβs licence holder to have a 1949 International Driving Permit issued by the AA together with the licence. This helps translate the licence as itβs in English.
The question is, why is she avoiding using the legitimate process of RTMC? The embassy can verify your immigration status (with them )and nationality of South Africans

You are Zimbabwean. Living in Japan. Using a South African driver's license. And you went to the South African Embassy ..; not the Zimbabwean Embassy ..; to get help.
And when they couldn't help you, you called it xenophobia?
You are a Zimbabwean national ..; not South African.
You obtained a South African driver's license ..; while you were in South Africa.
You are now in Japan ..; and you went to the South African Embassy for assistance.
The embassy told you they couldn't verify your license ..; because they don't provide consular services for foreign nationals.
Sis, that's not xenophobia. That's the law.
The South African Embassy is there to serve South African citizens ..; not Zimbabweans, not Nigerians, not anyone else.
You didn't go to the Zimbabwean Embassy. You didn't use Zimbabwean documents. You didn't follow the proper process.
You expected South Africa to help you ..;even though you are not South African.
And when they didn't, you cried xenophobia.
This is the entitlement we are talking about.
You used South Africa to study. You used South Africa to get a license. You used South Africa as a bridge to Japan. And now you want South Africa to help you in Japan too?
Why didn't you use your Zimbabwean documents? Why didn't you go to the Zimbabwean Embassy? Why didn't you follow the proper process?
Because you know the Zimbabwean system doesn't work. You know South Africa is the only country that will help you. And when they didn't, you blamed them.
South Africa is not your personal stepping stone. It is not your bridge to the world. It is a country with laws β and those laws apply to everyone, including you.
Go to the Zimbabwean Embassy. Use your Zimbabwean documents. Follow the proper process.
