Clocked it since February.
There seems to be an unwritten rule among coaches: they don't expose to the public the weaknesses of another team. It's very rare when a coach does it, to expose the other team verbally. But Mourinho has now done it for 2 seasons in a row. Last season, Benfica faced a Porto side that had won every game until then. Porto were playing well and dominating. Then Mourinho held them to a 0-0 draw, in a game where Porto couldn't even create a big chance. He did this by letting the CBs have the ball and always focusing the pressure on the CDM, Alan Varela, to disrupt Porto's build up. He explained this in a press conference, saying this is how you hold Porto down, and later even called them "easy to analyse". And all of a sudden, this is how every team started playing against Porto (Moreirense started it straight away, in the following matchday). And the quality of Porto's game decreased massively. Porto were still champions, in this case, but playing one of the most boring and pragmatic types of football that the country had ever seen, from the moment they faced Mourinho's Benfica in matchday 8. And now he has broken that unwritten rule once again. Mourinho beat Barcelona and explained to everyone that the way to break their high line is to have the midfielders running in behind, because their high line is not prepared to cover them. I wonder if we're now going to see a lot of teams using their midfielders to exploit the space against Barcelona, and if that will have any big impact on Barcelona's win rate (which was 100% until now) for the rest of the season.

Dem tell you say we no enjoy to dey watch Kane?
Lamine Yamal appears to take aim at Harry Kane in his most recent statements about the Ballon d'Or: "I think the Ballon d'Or should go to the best player in the world, period. Not to a player who's scored 80 goals, because when you score 80 goals, you get the 'top scorer' award for that. These are very different things that people aren't understanding. The best player in the world is the one that, as a commentator, you’re watching a game and enjoying - you see him and think, ‘He’s a player who is very different from everyone else.’. - When the award goes to the best, not the one who scores the most goals or the one who has won the most titles, then it will regain its true value." Raphinha should blame Yamal and Barcelona fans.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Raphinha liked an Instagram post comparing Harry Kane’s Ballon d’Or win with his own fifth-place finish last year. "They gave Harry Kane the Ballon d'Or for the same reasons that kept Raphinha in fifth place last year." "Raphinha won the domestic treble, and the level of competition in Spain is higher than in Germany." "Raphinha was eliminated from the Champions League in the semi-finals, just like Kane, but he finished the competition as both the top scorer and the top assist provider." "Kane is a fantastic player, but the question is: Why wasn't the same standard applied to Raphinha? If goals are all that matter, then they should just say so instead of changing their criteria depending on the player."

Dayo Isreal acts like a possessed and petulant child, he's an embarrassment to the office he holds, and i am very sure the FG has no hands in whatever show of shame he's currently engaged in. This isn't what the APC or President Tinubu stands for.

Why is Lacroix and Caicedo marking Solanke while Van Hecke was free? Who was Acheampong marking?”

This is the same problem we had in the first 3 games. You can’t be conceding possession because you don’t know what to do with the ball.

What’s the excuse now? Reminder that Estêvão also scored against Tottenham in the preseason.
