Germany passed a law to phase-out coal by 2038. As the law includes such a large amount of coal yet to be burnt, scientists estimate it‘ll be impossible for Germany to stay within its 1,5°-carbon budget.

After working with dozens of small businesses who didn't make the cut for Seattle's $2.5m Covid Relief Fund, it breaks my heart to hear the city spent $6.3m on police overtime in the month of June. We could have used that money to help so many family businesses.

#DYK the illegal wildlife trade is the 4th-largest transnational crime after drugs, weapons & human trafficking?
At the heart of illegal trade is the unsustainable demand for wildlife & wildlife products.
