Pretends human nature changed and people just "do the right thing" with no commensurate reward. 2. Runs a military organization with a hierarchy, but pretends that it hates battleships and war. Pretends these things can be managed away if everyone would just Federation harder. 3. They wouldn't give up the Federation hierarchy any more than Marxists will give up their penthouse so that the poor they claim to care about are equal. 4. Puts 1,000 people and families on a warship, puts that ship in danger, then the crew insist on prioritizing the safety of nanites that are destroying the ship over the preservation of their own people and families. 5. Consistently places the sensible, cautious, and sometimes militaristic points of view concerned with survival in the mouths of what we would call "Maga-coded" caricatures today. Even when the "Maga" character is right, and the Captain has to do what he suggests to save the ship, the smug crew and writers still mock him and act superior. It's a great show. ARIZONA — THIS IS NOW A FEDERAL INVESTIGATION – WITH A LITTLE DIFFERENT FOCUS The U.S. Attorney for Arizona has opened a case involving allegations that three nonprofit voter-registration organizations — Stand Indivisible Arizona, Worker Power, and When We Count — registered noncitizens to vote. The matter has now been referred to the FBI for a federal investigation. DOJ says written and video reports raised concerns that personnel associated with these organizations may have either intentionally disregarded or been recklessly ignorant of Arizona law prohibiting the registration of noncitizens. Let that sink in. This is no longer simply a debate about whether questionable names exist on voter rolls. Federal investigators are now looking at the people and organizations involved in putting registrations into the system in the first place. DOJ has asked Arizona officials to review registrations submitted by these groups and determine whether ineligible individuals were registered. And there is a broader warning here that EVERY political party, campaign and grassroots organization involved in voter registration should take seriously. GOTV – “Get-out-the-vote” operations are overwhelmingly numbers-driven. Doors knocked. Forms collected. Registrations completed. Contacts made. Turnout increased. That mentality can become dangerous when the legal conditions standing between a canvasser and another completed registration start being treated as obstacles to hitting a number. The citizenship question is NOT an inconvenience. Eligibility is NOT a technicality. And “just check the box” is not an acceptable answer when someone does not satisfy the legal requirements to register. You do not need an organizational conspiracy or an official policy telling people to register ineligible voters for serious violations to occur. Sometimes all it takes is a culture so obsessed with NUMBERS that individual workers begin cutting corners to produce them. Anyone participating in voter-registration drives — Republican, Democrat or otherwise — needs to understand this clearly: The goal is not to register the most people possible. The goal is to register the most ELIGIBLE people possible. That is a massive difference. And Arizona may now become an important test of what happens when that line is crossed. As of today, the organizations have not been criminally charged, and the allegations remain under investigation. But DOJ has officially opened the case. And the FBI is now investigating. NEW: ICE confirms to @FoxNews that their Seattle office has arrested a Kenyan illegal alien who is a current employee of the Washington State Dept. of Children, Youth, and Families, and was wearing a WA DCYF jacket at the time of his arrest. Fox is told ICE arrested STANLEY ROBERT KUNGU MUTHEE during a traffic stop on Monday because he is a visa overstay. He first flew into the US on 2/6/2019 via a B-2/tourist visa, but never left and remained in the country illegally. Fox is told that during his ICE arrest, he admitted to being employed by WA DCYF employee and was in possession of a WA DCYF ID card. I reached out to WA DCYF for comment, and they confirmed he's been an employee since 2024. “This individual has been employed with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families since Aug. 16, 2024. The individual provided the appropriate documentation when he was hired, which indicated he was authorized to work. This included a valid United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) number with no expiration date. We have not been notified of a change in his status.” – Nancy Gutierrez, Director of Communications, WA DCYF A reminder - a work permit does not convey legal status or shield the recipient from deportation. Someone can be in the U.S. illegally, but if they file an asylum claim, they are typically eligible to apply for a work permit 6 months after filing their claim. They can work, but they are still detainable by ICE due to their unlawful status.
