🚨| Aspen Ladd joined me for an interview on @Home_of_Fight ahead of her Bare Knuckle Boxing debut at #BKB58 tomorrow night! Aspen tells me she joined BKB instead of returning to BKFC because of a few reasons. She said BKB treats their fighters very well and that she will be paid good money over the course of her 4-fight deal. Aspen said BKFC wasn’t good at fighter communication and wasn’t getting her enough fights. The fight tomorrow is at 140lb. BKB goes by boxing weight classes, not MMA. Aspen says she would like to be competing for any or all of the 135lb, 140lb, and 147lb titles after 2 wins with BKB. Having struggled to make 135lb before, Aspen says that will no longer be an issue as she dialed in her weight cut. She said she hardly has any weight to cut to make 140lb and getting down to 135lb would be easy now. With UFC Sacramento going down last week, I asked Aspen about the progression of her career since she was the last person to headline a UFC event in Sacramento back in 2019. She recapped teammate Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez’s performance against Robocop. She said all of his heart showed in the fight after battling injuries amidst a short training camp.
