So proud of this young man. He’s turned something so negative and scary into something really positive. He’s shown great resilience and character at the age of 13. Please watch the video and if you can support him by sharing his effort or a small donation it would mean alot. justgiving.com/page/noah-fow…

Fantastic support from the brainstrust to help with my recovery. Great free resources that will help me understand what I’ve been through and what my journey will look like. They have also reached out to Noah personally to thank him for his fundraising for the charity and tell him how well he is doing. 🩶👏

What a man, a proper football man but also an incredible human being. There isn’t a week goes by where we don’t talk. Has signed me three times as a player and twice worked together in management. I would not have achieved what I did in the game without his guidance. I think everyone would agree that this couldn’t be more deserved ❤️ lnkd.in/p/efcwvxk4

My son Noah has taken it upon himself to raise funds for the Brainstrust Charity. He has found it very difficult coping as a teenager with my diagnosis and subsequent surgery. He has chosen to take on the £79 challenge with the Brainstrust to raise awareness as well as funds for them. His passion is football, something that we share. He is going to combine his love for football and something that has been life changing for us. He is going to do 79 kick ups, 79 times. A combination of 6241 kick ups in October. He will document it through timelapse videos and share with donors and on my social media. Please support & share 🩶 justgiving.com/page/noah-fow…

I will be really honest, prior to my op, I hated seeing these type of messages pal. However, fortunately, I am living proof of what you talking about. The worry of what might happen and how my family would cope without me was a genuine fear in the lead up to the surgery. Luckily I have hand some great support around me but safeguarding your families future is a non negotiable. You think, it won’t be me, I will be alright. I lost my job the middle of July and then 6 weeks later got my brain tumour diagnosis which led into the emergency surgery and now recovery. I won’t be able to work for the foreseeable future and I can’t drive for 12 months. My mindset has changed completely. Why would you take the risk, protect your family and safeguard their future 🩶
My Sunday every Sunday! Is it too late to get cover I …. Have done something to my knee Rolled my ankle and it’s ballooned up I fell and dislocated my shoulder Think I have broken my hand Am going to be off work and have no INCOME PROTECTION! I’m on the move again with Noah. He’s been an inspiration to me along with others that I will share over the coming days. As a 13 year old lad he has shown great courage and bravery whilst finding words for me when I couldn’t. I will never be able to take back the conversation I had to have with him after breaking the diagnosis. He sat there and looked back at me and said. You are strong and a small chance to you is a big chance compared to others. He then said I want to know everything because I don’t want you to do this alone. Incredible strength of character. Im very proud of him, as I am all three of my children. I’m very grateful for the support prior, during and now post surgery. I didn’t feel like going today and then I read the invictus poem again that Donna sent me and off we went. I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul. 2k 🩶

The rebuild begins, hospital to 5k. Reassuring that I’m as slow as I was when I played. My hair is growing quicker than I moved 😅 #ifindoubtgetcheckedout #BrainHealth #braintumoursurvivor #braintumourawareness

Fantastic human being, one of the best I’ve worked with. Please follow and share his post to help him raise his profile or reach out to him to see how he can help you. Given what I’ve been through, it’s changed my perspective on how we treat ourselves and our wellbeing. This can be one way to give something back our bodies. Treat yourself 🩶 #ifindoubtgetcheckedout

Two weeks today, post op and recovery hasn’t been in a straight line a bit like my scar! The surgeon has done an incredible job and I am proud of being able to share this with you because the alternative is unthinkable. If anyone has any health concerns, don’t do what I did and procrastinate. Please, get yourself checked and push for answers because life can change in an instance. I will share my full journey at some point with the idea that it will help someone. I have always avoided the doctors and medication until I had no choice. These things have saved my life along with my partner Donna who pushed me reluctantly into getting a CT scan and the rest is history. The great thing about it is that I get to write my next chapter. #braintumoursurvivor #getchecked #BrainTumourAwareness #GrayMay

gofundme.com/activity/e4faf5… A little update on the past 25 days and how life for us has been turned upside down. I am now two weeks post op and recovery is slow and steady. A big thank you to everyone for the messages of support and donations, I’ve been incredibly humbled and it’s meant so much to my family and I. Feeling blessed and privileged to be able to continue the biggest challenge of my life and embrace each step. 🩶

What an incredible job you have done. What does success look like?! Getting to the cup final last year and keeping the club in the league. Working with young players, developing them and moving them on to higher in the pyramid. Stylistically being brave in the identity of the team. Having a holistic 360 approach to the whole club and what the culture at the club should be. Most importantly being humble, having an outstanding work ethic and a good human being. ❤️
1/2 My time at @FlintTownFC has come to an end in was the correct decision Football don’t always give you what you need from it at times. But equally needs fresh ideas, I’ve met some amazing people at the club, to my staff thank you for your hard work and loyalty

Day 18 - Last night I was discharged from hospital and allowed to go home seven days post op, minus the tumour and my beard. 😂 An incredibly emotional moment for my family and I. I’m feeling very blessed! I can’t thank you enough for your love and support 🩶

An incredible coach and person, has done so much for the development of young players at the club. Enjoyed many a battle with him and the 19’s. Absolute legend 🤝
🔵 After more than six years of service at the Deva Community Stadium, we can confirm that Academy Manager Mike Allcock will depart Chester FC at the end of the month. Mike originally arrived as Youth Team Assistant Manager and Lead Technical Coach back in August 2020, before being promoted to his current position in May 2022. The UEFA A Licenced Coach also spent more than three years as First Team Coach, as the Blues made it into two Play-Off campaigns and into the FA Cup First Round Proper twice. As Academy Manager, Mike guided the Under 18’s to the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup twice, whilst also helping the Under 19’s to the National League U19 Alliance North Division title last season for the first time. Added to that are several Cup wins in the NWYA and a Final of the Academy Cup in 2025. The Club will be advertising for the role of Youth Team Manager in due course via our official channels. On behalf of everyone at Chester FC, we would very much like to thank Mike for all of his time and efforts with the club and wish him all the very best for the future. 💙
