I won't blame people for feeling down about the state of #Stolitz,
but Stolas *has* responded to Blitzo with worry and reassurance in his moments of uncertainty, panic, and sadness. However, Stolas is only able to do this when he himself is not getting in his own head. 🧵

I'm not going to reshare it, but there is a post with a bunch of AWFUL takes about "Why is Loona being so nice to her Dad's weird situationship?" and here I am to say. It makes perfect sense. 🧵
First off, she does pretty much state exactly why she is nice to him in ep 3. (1/15)

AAAA

If anything, Loona is shaping up to be the most adult member of IMP this year. She's trying to guide *two* emotionally fragile fathers, supporting her very fragile future step-sister, and also dealing with her own shit. Our goth hound's come a looong way and only gets stronger!

What Blitzø needs to learn is that loving someone does not inevitably lead to that person's suffering.
What Stolas needs to learn is that taking responsibility for his mistakes is not the same as giving up his right to be loved.

Explaining Helluva Boss but we all have CTEs:
Blitzø did bad thing, but that not make him bad person.
Stolas did bad thing, but that not make him bad person.
Both working through trauma. Need communication and to get on same page.
Audience suffers eternally.

I do think the slut era thing is either gonna be a background thing or solved soon, because there's lots of frames in the trailer where blitz just smiles at him and overall includes stolas a lot, so I dont think they're gonna be mad at each other for a long time

ok my honest thoughts
this was SO in character for stolas. he has been inconsiderate throughout the show, but in the way a young person is. something he NEVER got to be
he just has to find himself a bit. that’s all that’s happening. once the novelty of being his own person+

i’m not afraid of what will happen with Stolitz in season 3, because we’ll see these two falling in love with each other again. but this time it’ll be real and healthy. It’s a treasure to see your favorite characters first become friends and only then become lovers

🧵 Stolas is true to himself in S3, we've already seen his coping mechanisms with his message about being told mean things after Ozzie's. But he also turns pain into a sexual experience trough bdsm (and role-playing if we consider the old insta accounts vibes)

Here's what's going on with Digger:
Western culture has conditioned audiences to view films as a frictionless commodity designed purely for comfort. When a film disrupts that comfort, a total freak-out is guaranteed.
Most mainstream films use predictable structures, clear good-vs-evil dynamics, and spoon-fed answers. Digger breaks this contract. It forces viewers to sit with discomfort and watch an unlikable protagonist.
For years, we've reviewed films based entirely on how they made us feel. We fail to judge them by what the filmmaker was actually trying to achieve.
The critics tarnished Blade Runner, Miami Vice (2006), The Village, The Counselor, and Tenet upon release. Yet time was on their side, rewriting their legacies.
Digger will be no different.
