Cannot go wrong with this description of a perfect t sonic combo: “Repetitive motorik psychedelia with space rock and electronic twists”. Right up my alley!!
Haven’t listened to these guys for a while so will be checking this out!!

One of the absolute best. I love this album and love Spacemen 3! One of a kind!
For today's Sunday Review, we're investigating the appearance of J Spaceman and Sonic Boom's 1987 psychedelic rock album, a mythically drugged-out method of divine transport

Have a day off mate. So much incredible music was released in 1995. Here are 30 of my favourite albums from that year:
Not one great album here.
1995 was a weirdly bad year for music. The post-grunge explosion had faded, and 2nd wave emo and post-rock were about to emerge but hadn't yet, along with bands like Modest Mouse.
The best records that year were probably "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx," "Wowee Zowee," "To Bring You My Love," "Ghost of Tom Joad," Garden Variety's "Knocking the Skill Level," and the first Sparklehorse album (which I had forgotten came out in '95).
Another one of my purchases in London. Absolutely loving the new Ghost Dubs album. Stripped down and thunderous industrial bass!!!

Day 2 and I’ve spun this multiple times now. It’s just so, so good and such a perfect pressing!! @sk33mask @IlianTape

This one 1st IMHO. Then the Aphex Twin, then Sonic Youth!

One of my all-time favourites. Just get lost in those lush lofi dreamscapes. Can’t believe it didn’t make it on to my 9 album list…

Here’s mine for what they’re worth. Trying to be brutally honest about those early albums in teens and early twenties that triggered significant responses in - and modified - my sonic neurochemistry…

Orbital
Glastonbury 1994
Pay witness to Orbital in their imperial phase, performing tunes from their first three LPs to the shivered spines of pie-eyed gurners at Glastonbury, 1994

Got the CD back in the day in the late 90s. Got to pick it up on vinyl!

HELP REQUIRED! I’m back in the uk from Oz briefly and in London over the weekend. Need recs for good record shops specialising in electronica in all its wonderful forms, reggae, dub. Where should I head?
