One thing is for sure. If the Vikings don't trade for JT they need to have RB at the top of the needs for next year in the draft. Jones and Mason both FA after this year.
But as bad as the Vikings have been developing QBs they haven't been a lot better with RBs. Yeah, they have had AP, Cook, Robert Smith, Chuck Foreman but these are all 1st rd picks.
I think the only RB they have drafted that was any good that wasn't a 1st rd pick was Terry Allen. So lets go get us one of the top guys this year.
It 's a good point and one I pointed out myself as well.
Big game from the point of view that people may be forced to stop disrespecting the Vikings as a "fraud" or they will have a right to see "See told ya".
Not matter what you think of the possible Jonathan Taylor trade there is no denying that he is exactly the type of RB KoC would want in his offense. Great runner, but also the kind of RB that could catch 50 balls for 500 yards a season.
He's like a better Aaron Jones in his prime. Although I'm not sure if he's as savy and smart in pass blocking and the other stuff RBs do. Maybe he is but haven't seen him enough to know for sure.
Some things to keep in mind with the Vikings being 6-0:
- No 6-0 team has ever lost back to back games in weeks 7 & 8.
- 6-0 teams have a 95% chance of making the playoffs.
-80% of 6-0 teams reach at least the Divisional Round
- 50% chance to make the NFCCG
-10% chance to make it to the Super Bowl.
This being said, to me this team not making at least the NFCCG would be a disappointment given the 6-0 start but making the NFCCG would be an over achievement given my preseason expectations.
In fairness to Packers fans they're usually so drunk off their asses they probably don't even know that's not Dorsey Levens.
Vikings defense can cement being a truly great defense these next 4 games. They play the #1,#2, and #3 offenses in the league in November. If they look dominant vs these teams over this stretch and the Vikings are 10-0 , 8-2, 9-1 kind of area then I think they're 100% legit on tract to be an all time defense.
Not in my house, it's Heggies!
Wow, pissing off Bears fans apparently a good way to get engagement on X. One troll post....1 million impressions.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank God I got away with beating a woman.
Kinda funny to pull God into you being violent against women.
I kinda grew up with Captain Picard watching Star Trek, every episode of TNG. And then The X-Men.
Maybe had specific roles he could play but he was damn good as Professor X and Picard.
