Just reading the interview with @tuvastables re prize money. Noel is right, the Cork National was £50k 20 years ago, now it's £25k. But the biggest issue is the Irish St Leger 20 years ago was €121,702. Now it's worth £500k. There's your problem. Keeping the rich happy.

Source: Threads share.google/GcdqwwhQ8ic1Eta… This horror movie has some of the most gruesome, stomach churning scenes of blood and guts i've ever sat through in a movie. But despite that, it was brilliantly directed in a very original way. Nice to read of this real life happy ending.

Hi @carlosradioguy i do so agree with you re clocks going back. I was tossing and turning at 4.15am today, ready to get up for work! At our age, the body clock goes bonkers at any slight regime change!!

I know i've said it 100 times before but will never change my mind. For me, the greatest USA race commentary ever.

Good old Twitter! Blocked.

Brilliant!

What a week lies ahead! The build up to the best Saturday of the year, our Christmas Morning! The plan is @WolvesRaces Tues @NottsRacecourse Wed @stratfordraces Thurs @WetherbyRaces Fri and Sat, and @CarlisleRaces Sun. Can't wait for what lies ahead.

Finally, a superb ride from @SansomDan on Soviet Sailor, coming from behind to collar Beau De Maine on the line to win his first race, for @SeamusMullins1 . No better a start for him, and showed an excellent turn of foot right from the start of his career. Let's see how he goes.

Next, a classic case of a horse with confidence restored over hurdles after things went astray over fences. Well done to @NigelandwillyTD and James Turner with Lightning Flash, hurdling well to beat Character Testing, showing all his old sparkle.More hurdle wins ahead of him now.

Next the 2m4f hcap chase, and an excellent victory for Walk In The Valley, shouldering top weight to an impressive win over Noble Recall, for @JPandSSracing and @Danmcmenamin1 . His first ever win, but has run all his best races here. Team Eldwick clearly ready for a good winter!

The Desert Orchid Silver Cup next, transferred from Somerset, and a cracking ride from @chammond1996 up the rails on Paper Mill to beat The Doyen Chief, for @sedmundsracing . His third win under rules after a successful p2p run, regaining his old sparkle this summer. Nice to see.

This could warm the coldest heart.

Next, the best steeplechase of the 26/27 season so far imho. A home straight thriller as Triple Trade just holds off Tommy's Oscar, for @TizzardRacing and @brendanp1995 . A proper three way battle as the plot changed three times in 20 seconds. Cheltenham three timer next maybe?

Next, the juvenile hurdle, and another absolute cracker of a race, as Minella Buoy just holds on to victory in a war of attrition from Don Dandy, for @GHanmerRacing and @Danmcmenamin1. His first hurdles victory in his first UK appearance and showed real courage to jold on to win.

Todays Reviews. An absolute @Sean_Bowen_ masterclass first in a thrilling race, as Moore Brion is produced spot on to collar Military Cross on the line, for @O_J_murphy91 . Unbeaten in three runs, this his first run over hurdles. Found more when needed, and should stay further.

The greatest ending to a sitcom ever, surely?

Happy birthday to one of Ireland's brightest, professional and upbeat sports broadcasters, and a great friend and supporter of our great sport. @Meghann_Scully hope you have had a lovely day.

Comment from the punters at Market Rasen. Come back @tommoracing all is forgiven!!

Sorry @MarketRasenRace forgot photos.

Well it turned out to be a brilliant day at @MarketRasenRace with some cracking racing and as good a 2.5m chase as you could see. Also good to see @XanderBrett a new and excellent raceday presenter on board today. Thanks to everyone for all their efforts getting racing on today.
