1/4 I can still vividly remember some of the biggest bets I ever cashed. 2000 Sugar Bowl: FSU (-5) ran away from Vick & the Hokies in 4Q. SB XXXVI: Patriots +14 / +650 over the Rams. Adam Vinatieri 🐐 2003 Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State +13 / +425 over Miami (2 OT). SB XXXVII: Bucs +4 & Over 44 against the Raiders. That stretch remains the most lucrative of my sports betting life. 🤑 Years later, I went looking for those tickets. They were gone. The sportsbooks I used didn't even exist anymore. It was almost like those bets never happened. But they did.

This World Series photo is one of the best sports photos I have ever seen, but the process behind how it was captured might be even more interesting. No, it wasn't done with AI or a drone. Here's what you need to know... Mike Carlson and Carmen Mandato took this photo, and Carlson broke down the process on Instagram. He says they go up on the catwalk before games to install a series of cameras mounted in different positions — looking at home plate, the mound, etc. But since photographers can't sit on the catwalk during games (and also have to take other photos), Carlson and Mandato install a trigger to help take photos remotely. The way it works is simple: When Carlson and Mandato take photos with their handheld camera in the outfield, the catwalk camera also takes a photo. The catwalk camera is also connected to a network, so it automatically sends the photo to an editor. This is similar to the process NBA photographers use to get those popular "spotlight effect" photos. But instead of mounting their camera on a catwalk in the arena, NBA photographers use a trigger to activate the strobe lights most NBA arenas have installed in the rafters. Most people never notice the strobe light going off, but once you do, you'll notice it every time. Super interesting.

You don't need action every day. You don't need to bet every game you watch. No bet is sometimes the sharpest bet you can make Patience money line #GamblingX

While the fantasy team appreciated his return, Christian Watson had already taken care of our bankroll before getting knocked out. Completely insane that he landed EXACTLY on 100 receiving yards before jumping into that ambulance. Guess the football gods felt they owed me one after making Smack shank an extra point that cost us a push on the total.
INSANE: THE ENTIRE VIDEO SEQUENCE OF #PACKERS WR CHRISTIAN WATSON’S WILD INJURY COMEBACK. Watson got injured, left the field, went to the locker room, was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, then came FLYING back to Lambeau Field and ran onto the field. 🤯🤯🤯

NFL 2026-27 🏈 Last: +0.31 L/Week: +13.44u L/30: +24.49u Season: +55.03u The FOCK that game didn't go over!! A missed XP + failed 2-pt conversion gets us. Watson going to the hospital for an in-game physical wasn't on the bingo card. Was in-line for a huge night beforehand, turning his first 6 snags into a benji. See you Sunday 👊

And Christian Watson is done... But he went for 6/100 before leaving the game. ✅✅

Only fitting for the MVP to be front and center in so many memorable World Series moments.
This photo HAD to be on a trading card.

Yaxel was an incredible watch at both UAB & Michigan. No shock he’s already kicking ass at the next level.
Yaxel is off to a historic start through his first 5 NBA games! ▪️ 25+ PTS IN 3 STRAIGHT GAMES: 1st Warriors rookie since Steph in 2009 ▪️ 113 PTS, 46 REB: 1st player to reach both marks through 5 career games since Shaq in 1992
