At the California Baptist Annual Meeting, 165 Send Network-assessed and endorsed church planters were recognized and prayed over. Behind these planters are sending churches committed to praying, giving, and sending. We’re encouraged by what God is doing among California Baptists as churches are strengthened, leaders are developed, missionaries are sent, and the gospel advances. Join us in praying for these planters, their families, and the sending churches supporting them as we work together to reach every community with the gospel!

Being justified means we are reconciled to God and adopted into his family. We are sanctified (made holy) and cleansed of sin. We have been freed from the oppressive burden of law keeping and can live our lives as God intended—led by the Spirit towards love.

Justification by faith is spectacularly good news. Before God we are no longer guilty sinners; we are righteous worshippers. Being justified means our sins are forgiven and we have the certain hope of eternal life.

The doctrine which Luther claimed the church rises or falls today at @genesiseureka, because it answers how you and I could as sinners ever be right with the holy God. Gonna be awesome.
Come today to find out about the doctrine Martin Luther said we needed to have "beat into our heads continually." Galatians 2:15-21 is one of the great mountain peaks in Scripture, going to be fun. We start in 2 hours, coffee will be ready.

Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ & not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16

Galatians 2:15-21 tomorrow, which is a mountain peak in Scripture.
Martin Luther claimed that the doctrine of justification by faith alone is the article on which the church rises or falls. What did he mean by this and why it is important for our understanding of the Gospel - our topic tomorrow at Genesis. Hope you will join us.

This year alone, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria than Gazans in 3 years of war. But no one seems to care, and the media remains silent.
Right now, a genocide against Christians, perpetrated by Muslims, is happening in Nigeria. More than 3,000 members of Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo’s church have been killed. And he has already conducted over 200 mass burials for his congregation. This year alone, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria than Gazans in 3 years of war.
