Ancestry Journeyman v2.0
v1.0 stalled in Ireland and a wrecked tablet with the save file sealed its fate.
Ancestry Journeyman 2.0 (now on .68) will run as follows, covering my known ancestral countries;
England
Scotland
Ireland
Northern Ireland
Norway
Wales
France
Champ On!
After a 6 month hiatus i'm back at Dumbarton to face that 7 mil hole in finances and a zero transfer budget.
To assist me, a number of players decided to throw in the towel pre season.
Rare mid season update: In an effort to bring our stadium in line with Premier League requirements, the board have made significant investments. This has however reduced our transfer funds to **£nil** and scuppered deals; Our potential financial status for the next decade!
Another successful season despite the boards pessimism and barely a wee war chest, a difficult start but then the formation just clicked and we were away.
If we can keep the squad together mid season I reckon we can push on and challenge next year!
Another successful season at Dumbarton, but just look at how close it was. Talk about squeeky bum time.
I think we may have over-acheived this season and the next will be incredibly difficult without a generous increase in transfer funds from the board.

I found it so difficult to sign anyone, hence it taking 5 months to make 5 signings.
Properly close with the Celtic behemoth breathing down my neck. Scottish Cup in the bag too 👍
A successful first season at Dumbarton sees us top the table with only a handful of transfers able to be finalised and no particular favourites.
Debts are now cleared but a host of players are refusing to enter contract negotiations; turmoil and desperate transfers lay ahead.
Club decided I move to Scotland to continue my managerial journey. Get ready for some changes Dumbarton!
As I only have Premier division job offers in Scotland, The Wheel will be making a return to choose my next club from Division 3...

The English leg of my Ancestry Journeyman 2.0 challenge is complete after 8 seasons, see profile, and I'm undecided on the next step so opinions are welcomed.
The format and my CM01/02 experience being narrower than many, means that they are all new players to me regardless!

I only began playing the game a few years ago and would struggle to win a game, let alone finish a season, let alone win the Premier League at Yeovil with a fully English squad from my scouts. Great PB!

Some really awful news coming out today… Non-League footballer Jack Badger has sadly taken his own life aged just 24 💔
Please, for anyone reading this - speak to someone. Our DM’s are always open for anyone struggling. Rest in perfect peace, Jack. Taken too soon. ❤️🙏🏼

Mid Season Update:
Those who know my Champ journey know of my fondness for Jeff Whitley. When he came up in the scout search I could not resist. He is the exception to the rule in terms of nationality and its not a huge stretch is it.
