Pretty solid Saturday! 😂. With @LongeneckerBob .
Great “snow day” tasting. So many winners - but, if I had to drink one bottle, it would be that Bryant! Cheers. Hope everyone stays warm and safe!
Any of my X Crew in Atlanta or familiar? Going to watch Indiana Football and gonna have 5-6 hours, on Saturday, to kill. Curious about what shouldn’t be missed. Thanks!
Happy New Year, crew!
A few of last-nights bottles: The Dominus is getting closer - still a little young - but you can see what a great wine it is. The Lanson was not my favorite Champagne. The others were beautiful wines. It was a great variety with some cool glasses mixed in!
I’ve been lazy about posting pics, lately (again), but - as this was my first Salon ever - had to get it up here. Hope everyone has a safe NYE. Talk to ya’ll in 2026!!!
The last week or so. Tasting, tonight, (last pic) was as solid as any I’ve ever had. Most done blind….and the crew did really well with our guesses.
My “birthday” tasting. The Montelena Pahlmeyer and Palmer were all really stunning. Every wine on the table was great - but this group just reminds me that 20+ years really helps this caliber of wine.
Great Burg tasting tonight @claytonwinehouse.
Photo dump from the past 10 days. Not a disappointment in this entire photo bomb. These bottle shares are just getting silly! ;)
Still being lazy on posting pics - but can’t NOT post this Sunday tasting….and still missing a couple of serious bottles.
Photo dump from the weekend. So many amazing bottles - no idea where to start. Honestly - the Carlisle (for the money) might be on the list…..but some amazing bottles, for sure.
Photo dump. SO many nice wines. I wish I was better about taking notes. That VHR - the second of that vintage I’ve popped - is getting better!!!
Just trying some $40 Bordeaux and an Anderson Conn. And the Champagnes we started with last night on the patio. Thank God for patio weather. What an unbearable Summer it’s been!
