Worcestershire is still very lacking in decent rain , local streams dried to a stop and a lots of ponds dried up still. This pool at uckinghall worcs is about 40cm below the May month level of water, truly astonishing where the waters gone.

For every 1°C of warming the atmosphere absorbs 7% more water. If you want to know what happens to that water, ask the people in Killeybegs, Donegal in Ireland 🇮🇪 who are suffering from it today.

This is NOT how pollinators should be welcomed into Spring. Just yesterday morning dandelions, lesser celandines & sow-thistles along this street were supporting solitary bees, bumblebees & hoverflies. Now all mown & lifeless.

Are you a primary school #teacher? Perhaps you could help by teaching children to LOVE & appreciate these creatures - rather than being afraid or revolted by them? They, in turn, might re-educate their parents

When vaccination is CHEAPER than culling and culling hasn’t even been proven to work effectively, why have you just agreed to a mass slaughter of over 40,000 badgers? @michaelgove
RT if you agree this is a national disgrace. We’re talking about over 40,000 individual lives...

Good news. If you are fed up with this cold weather then it’s all about to change dramatically! A strong high pressure is about to form across West mainland Europe next week bringing a warm week for especially North west Europe. #extremeweather #summer

I’m getting more and more confident. NW #Europe is in for some pretty extreme weather in terms of #cold and #snow. The U.K. could see some of its coldest conditions for many years with model outputs not backing down still some upgrades appearing. #StayTuned
