Requests! I want to mix in some requests with some of the stuff I’m already doing for some extra inking practice. These aren’t commissions (though, everything is always for sale), just suggestions for fan art, sketches, etc. You’re helping me switch it. Some from the past:

So I live in a college town and last night, while driving through town, I saw lots of college kids walking to Halloween parties , and I have a question.
Is “prostitute” a hot costume this year?

WIP. So I keep lists on my phone. I have a list of requests and besides the new ones I’ve gotten, I have some from a few years ago. I’m sorry I don’t remember who requested Hawk from Buck Rogers, but if you put in a request there’s still a chance I’ll do it! 🤞

WIP. Inks on a sketchcard of a Dominator alien from DC Comics. I’ll be testing out watercolor over the various inks from various pens I’m using on these this weekend.

Best Doctor Doom comics? My son decided he wants to be him for Halloween but doesn’t really know anything about him (he does look cool), so I’m gonna turn him onto some comics. I know I have some including have his first appearances in FF. Name some and I’ll check my collection.
I’ve always wondered, do NFL teams have official lip readers with cameras fixed on coaches of the opposite team?
Comic addicts, what’s your technique when you have a pile of comics you’ve put off organizing in long/short boxes and you’re gonna have to do a lot of shifting around?
Dang it! I have a story I’ve been working on for a new comic series. I’m not a writer but I figured I’d get some practice with a fun story drawing stuff I enjoy. But in the trash it goes. I guess.
If you’re really good at drawing, that’s awesome!
If you’re not also really good at writing, maybe you shouldn’t write your own comic book series.
Writing is a craft that takes learning, practice, and attention to detail. Just like drawing.
If you’re not as practiced at writing as you are at drawing, you’re doing the reader and your own art a disservice by writing subpar stories for yourself to draw.
Get someone who’s as practiced in writing as you are in drawing.

In college I would fall back on dashes when I wasn’t sure what to use. I don’t think my professors were sure if they were used correctly either since they were never marked.
Bad Writing Tips #42: Never use semicolons. Use dashes. They work exactly the same way, but look better—and you can string them together to make an em dash, or use three at a time to create the super em dash. They also replace hyphens. There’s little a dash can’t do.
