DARVO. DARVO. DARVO.
Exactly the tactic a CIA-trained spook, liar, blackmailer, and extortionist would employ. DARVO, an acronym for (Democrats) Deny, Attack and Reverse Victim and Offender, describes a common tactic employed by left-wing perpetrators of political violence and lawfare when threatened with accountability for their actions.
Here's how DARVO plays out in practice:
Prelude: Threaten political violence and/or lawfare against Republicans. In Slotkin's case, implicitly threaten the mass arrest of junior Trump administration staffers just for being associated with it. To put it more bluntly, threaten a political pogrom. A putsch.
Step 1: DENY. DENY. DENY.
Shades of Yogi Berra's "I didn't say the things I said." Step 2: ATTACK. ATTACK. ATTACK. Flood the zone with baldly hypocritical attacks on your "accusers".
@RepSwalwell is a past master of this technique. @GavinNewsom, too. Plus a long list of Democrats currently in office. Or make that every Democrat.
@SenatorSlotkin complaining, in hourly tweets, about calls to prosecute HER after she called for prosecutions of her political opponents is textbook.
Step 3: REVERSE VICTIM and OFFENDER.
Invert the narrative to position yourself as the aggrieved party suffering unjust persecution.

Ethiopia: At least 47 Ethiopian Christians were killed, and another 18 hospitalized, in coordinated attacks targeting them in the Oromia region.
Surviving witnesses claimed regional authorities collaborated with Islamist militias to carry out the massacre.
Church leaders have repeatedly warned local authorities about armed groups entering the area, but received no serious response.
This is not an isolated incident, but rather part of a pattern of targeted attacks against Ethiopian Christians, who militants conflate with Amhara ethnicity.
This fusion of religious and ethnic violence against innocent Christians and their churches must not be tolerated.
We condemn these evil acts and call for the protection of Ethiopia’s Christians.

Police have stated the killer is a 39 year old man.

After Elon Musk posted on X saying he had throttled Ukraine’s use of Starlink after it was used for offensive attacks, House Armed Services Committee member Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) says the billionaire’s ability to wield that power is “beyond disturbing to me.”
“It cannot and should not be the case that a tech oligarch, a private citizen, who has that much control over our national security, who is unaccountable, who is unelected, with zero transparency, is making life and death decisions on the battlefield in systems that our service members and our partners and allies rely upon,” he adds.

I can’t say what I want to say about Representative Crow without being kicked off of this platform. Musk certainly has every right for Starlink not to be used by a foreign country to carry out offensive actions in a foreign war.
Hundreds if not thousands of Democratic political operatives should be prison for subverting the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.

Peters served less than two years in prison for crimes related to breaching voting system security. She maintains she was trying to show flaws in the system.
