I’m going to do another promotion for @ShannonAirport. This morning, from car park, check in, security & into airside duty free. 7 minutes. It can’t be beaten. I’ve taken longer in private air terminals.

More reports from Southwest of the Saharan dust on cars and windows after showers overnight. This video from Alan Daly in West Cork shows the dust left behind last night after a shower. The dust will remain over us for the rest of the week but will only come down with showers. – at Carlow, Ireland

Yes, in a year where lockdown impacted travel and in a world where oil is attributed to the country of consumption but food is attributed to country of production. We sell beef to the Middle East, the emissions are allocated to Ireland, they sell us oil, we get the blame too.

The Areni-1 shoe, discovered in 2008 within the well-preserved Areni-1 cave situated in Armenia's Vayots Dzor province, is an ancient leather shoe dating back 5,500 years. This remarkable footwear, made from a single piece of leather, holds the distinction of being the oldest known leather shoe among present-day scholars.

I used to be embarrassed by being disabled and in a wheelchair. I hid it in every way I could. The videos done in the car enabled the denial. I would never leave the car. I used crutches even when my knee began crumbling. I used to hide the crutches in early videos and be terrified if I saw my skinny legs in the sketch or in public. Was afraid to get pictures with people in case they would see my legs. Then I slowly began to realise that this is the only body I have and the only one I will ever have. I grew in confidence when parents of disabled children told me that they looked up to me for not letting my disability get to me. I 'came out' as it was, publicly about it 3 years ago, and haven't looked back. Did anyone care? No. Did it change what people thought of me? No. Did it change me? Yes, and for the better.
Be proud of who you are, and if a cripple lad like me can go from jail and broken necks to charity cycles and live tours, then you can do anything!
