David shared a photo of his Fuzzy cards this week, and I want to talk about what's in the frame. Start with the lid. Printed across the top of the box, small enough that most people scrolled past it: "The surface never changed. Only the ability to see beneath it did." That is the entire practice, written on packaging, and sold as a card game. Now look at the bottom of the photograph. Brick. The counter front is brick, running the full width of the shot, sitting underneath everything else in the picture. Two days ago I wrote about the Yellow Brick Road, so I ran the numbers instead of guessing. Four things came back and I'll give you all of them, including what missed. THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD and FUZZYCARDS ON XRP LEDGER carry the same value in reverse ordinal. 280. They also carry the same value in reverse reduction. 100. Two separate ciphers agreeing, and the second phrase is not my invention, it's the text printed on the box. YELLOW BRICK and BOOSTER BOX are both 135. YELLOW BRICK and CRESCENT MOON match in two ciphers, 54 and 63. There is a crescent moon on that lid. YELLOW BRICKS and XRP LEDGER both reduce to 55. What missed: spoon and knife on their own gave me nothing. 79 and 45, 143 together. No canon number in any cipher I ran. I'm telling you the miss because a decoder who only reports hits is just a salesman. But look at the spoon anyway. In Baum's book, published in 1900, Dorothy's slippers are silver. Hollywood changed them to ruby in 1939 because it looked better in Technicolor, and the silver quietly left the story. The gold road stayed. The silver was removed. There is a silver spoon in that photograph, lying next to a knife, on a cutting board, in front of a box about learning to see beneath the surface. And the Cleveland Fed and the Chicago Fed both publish the monetary reading of Oz themselves. They teach it to schoolchildren. Gold road, silver slippers, green city, small man behind a curtain. Now the part that keeps me honest. Gematria will give you matches if you want matches badly enough. There are many ciphers and many ways to phrase a thing, and a determined person finds a number anywhere. Two ciphers agreeing is better than one. It is still not proof and I will not pretend otherwise. But I didn't choose those phrases. The box did. FUZZYCARDS ON XRP LEDGER is printed on it. The crescent moon is printed on it. The sentence about seeing beneath the surface is printed on it. I just counted what was already there. None of this is proof. That's exactly the point. The surface never changed. 🐻
