A terrific event that I wish I could be at: the new restoration of Charles Burnett's tender, fierce, melancholy drama My Brother's Wedding is at @FilmForumNYC , and at 6pm he'll be there for a discussion with @mayascade of Milestone Films and the Black Film Archive.

Another terrific event I wish I could be at, the "Wild Palms"-like alternating-reels intercut of Made in USA and 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her, at @lallianceny in the series Jean-Luc Godard: Unmade and Abandoned, at 6:30pm, introduced by Michael Witt.
