Gender ideology is the state mandated religion of Colorado. Over 20 laws have been passed to mandate it. You cannot acknowledge biological truth in CO… But when it hurts CHILDREN? — Girls in their own sports & spaces?? It’s time to act. 📢 Vote YES on Prop 134!
Two girls were allowed to play volleyball only if they stopped discussing a transgender athlete, a Colorado parent complaint alleges. A coach’s message threatened benching over alleged bullying. The school district's response left the alleged condition unanswered. foxnews.com/outkick-sports/c…

Hmm… so being pro women is an ejectable offense? While death threats on a Tshirt is A-OK?Good to know.
These are the shirts allowed for the @ThornsFC fans. None of them were removed. They have chants about burning people alive. Fans assaulted multiple people wearing @xx_xyathletics shirts. None of them were removed. I am quite literally in shock.

Yes, when the state decides who counts as a woman — and repeatedly defines woman as anyone who identifies as one, including MEN — no woman is safe. The headline is correct. But Colorado is upside down, clown world, pretend land. The state is abusing us with gender ideology. And this is DARVO. VOTE YES on 133, 134 & 135 to protect women. 🗳️ ☑️☑️☑️

BREAKING: The US Department of Justice is reviewing the forceful ejection of fans wearing XX-XY t-shirts at Friday's Portland Thorns game. "The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly. Where the facts and the law warrant action, the Department will not hesitate to act." A DOJ spokesperson also told me, "Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than sex discrimination. The Department is reviewing it."

WOW. A security guard just came and ripped @Matt_Calkins of @Outkick’s press pass off his chest. Right in front of cops, while he was in the middle of an interview. What on earth.

Bend, Oregon man who shot and killed a shooter at his daughters' school speaks out, praises female teacher for fighting the shooter, allowing him to have a clear shot. Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives. He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter. "I want to recognize [the teacher]. She gave me the opportunity to make my shot without losing my life..." "I swung the door open, and I stepped in, and I fired, and they dropped to the ground... I looked down at the gunman, and he was scrambling for his weapon. And I looked at him, and I shot him 2 more times..."

What might be wrong with this picture. “The more divided we stand…” how does that stanza end???
Nick Covington has, for as long as I've followed his work, treated education as a political fight. He doesn't ask whether something works. He asks who's behind it. That dodges the only question that matters, which is whether kids learn. His main charge is that people pushing explicit instruction are sneaking politics into the classroom. But look at the record. The people he attacks are talking about reading scores, lesson design and research. He's the one turning every argument about teaching into an argument about political sides, sorting teachers into camps and judging methods by who supports them. The politicizing he warns about is mostly his own. His method is simple. He labels his opponents, lumps them together and treats them all as guilty by association. If the other side's reasons are always a cover, you never have to answer them. When I pushed back, he didn't name a single error. He said a chatbot wrote my comment. That isn't a rebuttal. It goes after the person and skips the argument. Direct instruction spent decades out of favor while the money went elsewhere. Teachers use it because they've seen it work. Nick keeps warning that someone is politicizing education. He's right, but he's pointing at the wrong person. covingtonedu.substack.com/p/…

And we wonder why children tell us they aren’t challenged in school and are disengaged. @tylerkingkade
NEW: Last school year, a 7th grader viewed 4,700 YouTube videos during class. An 8th grader viewed 5,700 videos in class. A 2nd grader viewed ~500 in just 2 months. Less than 5% were educational. @nbcnews analyzed the YouTube watch histories of students from across the country. My new story shows how far some take it on their school laptops and iPads --> nbcnews.com/specials/hooked-…

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 5: Washington state's Secretary of State weighs in 🚨 The below clip shows Danielle Reiff of DRG pitching her vision to an audience including Washington state's Secretary of State, Steve Hobbs. She explains the red-line scenarios and ultimately a vision of creating a "cross-partisan" government in the wake of an illegitimate federal government. Her three "democratic emergency" scenarios should be familiar by now: · Election meltdown - which includes a widespread public loss of trust in election results · Insurrection Act deployed against protesters · An attempt to delay seating of legitimately elected officials post-election If the federal government becomes illegitimate in her view because of the above, then she proposes a cross-partisan system of transitional governance. She names a cross-partisan board of governors, as well President Obama and President Bush as potential transitional leaders. WA SoS Hobbs replies to Reiff that he has had the exact same conversation with German and Japanese officials regarding how to deal with AfD and right-wing nationalist parties. Now, to be fair, he does not want to commit because, in his words, "we're winning." But he doesn't disagree either. Note also that here and in other recordings, "election meltdown" does not mean some sort of flashy media crisis. It means, simply, a large segment of the population doesn't believe the election results are legitimate.

This is what you get when there is zero check on local government. The consequences of this are an accelerated exodus; 2,100 last year ahead of this with the vast majority migrating directly to its immediate suburban border counties. Data shows 71% of out-migrants staying within the state & moved to Westmoreland, Washington, Butler, or Beaver counties in large part to escape higher taxes. Businesses, of which 99% are small businesses in Allegheny county, if they can, will follow suit.
Allegheny County Council has approved a landmark paid parental leave policy requiring employers with at least 15 workers to provide 12 weeks of paid leave to eligible new parents. #AlleghenyCounty #Pittsburgh #PaidParentalLeave #ParentalLeave #WorkingFamilies #LocalNews #TribLiv
