Illinois Democrats owe us answers for the ballot fiasco and disrupted early voting. I’m demanding immediate accountability for Illinois voters.
The guy in charge of the ballots in Champaign County, Illinois is under federal indictment. He's also on the ballot.
Clerk Aaron Ammons is charged with obstruction for allegedly helping cover for his wife, a Democrat state rep facing eight counts of wire fraud. He asked to push his own federal trial to December so he could run this election, and he got it.
So how's that going? His office mailed more than 600 ballots with the wrong state House races on them. Early voting got shut down, and a lot of voters found out when they showed up. 28 people already voted on bad ballots, and those votes can't be fixed.
One of the races they botched is a seat the Republican won by 269 votes last time. His wife's district got scrambled too.
This is the same office that blamed a "cyberattack" in 2022, had an outage on Election Day 2024, and printed a GOP candidate's name as "Tad."
Congress gave him until Friday to explain himself. Republicans asked Illinois AG Kwame Raoul to step in, and his office wouldn't even comment.
If an indicted Republican clerk pulled this three weeks before an election, it would be on every network for a week. Instead it's crickets.

I went through in my special election last year what Republicans are experiencing in every district this year.
Angry Democrats determined to vote.
Republicans less motivated because we were in charge.
I got criticized because I couldn’t raise the $250,000 PER DAY in hard money that my Democrat raised. $14 million in nine weeks.
For the record, no Democrat incumbent this cycle — including AOC and Hakeem Jeffries — has raised so much in so short a time. Only those two have raised more than that in ten times as long!
We got outspent six-to-one.
But we put our heads down and used the resources we did have to explain to Republicans and NPAs why they needed to vote.
And despite much higher turnout from motivated Democrats, I won by the same 14 points in my first race that my two predecessors won by in their first elections, when neither was outspent, and it was not a special election.
The bottom line is this:
Ignore the noise, explain that we have a country to save, and nothing else matters but voting.
VOTE.
Illinois families want a secure border. Democrats want it gone—COMPLETELY.
Their priorities have never been the American people, and it gets proven time and time again.
There is no middle ground. Vote for the party that will defend our nation. VOTE REPUBLICAN!
NEW: Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) has just introduced her new legislation that would completely dismantle DHS, abolish ICE, and replace it with the “Department of Community Safety”. The bill would also abolish CBP, which means getting rid of Border Patrol & customs officers at ports of entry at land borders, airports, and sea ports. This would result in completely open borders with no federal agency left to screen or detain people coming into the country both legally and illegally.
