A miniPCR thermal cycler that flew aboard the @Space_Station has officially entered the Smithsonian’s permanent collection as part of their newest exhibition, "At Home in Space."

When Boeing & @ISS_CASIS invited us to test our tech in orbit, we asked: what do we test first? We didn’t decide—students did.
Through @GenesInSpace, 13000+ middle & high schoolers led the charge, from the 1st PCR in space (2016) to the 1st CRISPR gene edit in microgravity.
This milestone belongs to every teacher running a gel, every mentor, and every curious student who dared to ask a fearless question.
The flight unit has its forever home, but the real work continues on your bench.
