Encouraging News: Researchers are testing whether Alzheimer’s can be treated before symptoms even begin — using a blood test to identify people at high risk. The goal is to find out whether treating the disease earlier — before symptoms appear — can delay or even prevent it.

New research is shedding light on why “freezing of gait” affects people with Parkinson’s differently. The report identifies distinct patterns, some that improve with levodopa & others that persist despite medication. The research was supported by the Miracle for Mom Foundation.
