Our students showcased amazing creativity and confidence as they prepared for their upcoming assessments, retelling their chosen fairytales with expression and energy. This term, we’ve been focusing on exaggeration in movement and voice!

This Monday morning started off excellently as I delivered a session to our EPIC Excel Club about Shakespeare and his relevance in today’s music, film, and television culture. It sparked a great conversation about his impact, even in the 21st century! 📕 @linsladeschool
Today, we explored Roald Dahl’s vivid descriptive language in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory using the visualiser during Year 5 English, with a focus on guided reading. Pupils analysed word choices and developed their oracy through purposeful discussion!📖🍫😁 @linsladeschool
