Summer is here & temperatures inside a vehicle can rise dangerously fast.🔥
Before you walk away, remember:

Today marks more than just the ribbon cutting of the new @MissDPS Headquarters, it represents a new chapter for our agency and the future of public safety in Mississippi.
For the first time in agency history, this building brings all of our divisions under one roof! A major milestone that strengthens coordination, improves efficiency, and enhances how we serve and protect communities across our state. This facility is proudly named in honor of David Huggins and his lasting legacy of service to this agency.
Thank you to Governor @tatereeves, Eley Guild Hardy Architects, AnderCorp, Liz Welch and her team at the Department of Finance and Administration, the Mississippi Legislature, and our MDPS team for making this possible. I am beyond proud of this achievement and especially grateful to Mandy Davis for her dedication in seeing this project through.
Together, we are building a stronger, safer Mississippi.
We’re counting down the days until the 4th Annual MS Public Safety Summit May 19-22! Public safety officials and leaders from across the state will come together to build relationships, share ideas, and learn from one another.
Don’t miss this opportunity!
